What's On My Kindle

Meet My Kindle!

Okay, admittedly I am very late to the world of Kindle.

For years, I have been a solid Nook supporter. My first eReader was a Nook, gifted to me from my parents for my birthday. I love that thing. It has been my constant reading companion and has gone with me everywhere!

But then I happily found myself in the world of book reviews, and while I can sometimes request a book in the Nook format, the vast majority of ARC eBooks are sent to me in…yep, Kindle format. So, after months and months of reading my Kindle books on the Kindle app, I finally gave in to the longings of my bookworm heart and saved up for a Kindle Paperwhite.

I am head over heels in love with this thing. Also, I named it. No really, I’m not kidding. You know when you’re setting up your Kindle, and it prompts you to name it? It gives you a right proper suggestion too, such as ‘Stacie’s Kindle.’ Know what I’m referring to?

Please.

I named it Leif. Because Leif is my favorite Norwegian name. So now, when I buy a Kindle book, Amazon says, “Sending to Leif.” That’s right. Just send it to Leif, Amazon. He’s my new best friend. He’ll take it from here.

Anyway, I probably don’t need to go on about why I love this thing so much, as most of you own a Kindle yourself, as well as your grandma and her entire quilting group. But it’s completely safe to say that I am totally infatuated and now fully understand why y’all are so die-hard faithful to your Kindles.  Everything about it is tailored to the reader and I am hopelessly hooked.

Check out Aimerday’s cases on Amazon! So beautiful and wonderfully made.

With that said, I’m off to read. I’ll share which book I am currently obsessed with in my next Kindle post. Until then, happy reading, Friends!

Do you have an eReader? Which one?
