My ReviewThe Action Storybook Bible was a huge hit with my two youngest daughters, ages 5 years and 8 years. It is set up similar to a comic book, with many fun and beautiful illustrations. The text is limited, which is great for my 8 year old, who feels like she can sit down and read the stories to her younger sister.

I think perhaps my favorite part is the focus on the Old Testament! I am a huge lover of the Old Testament, and find that so many books and Bible commentaries put a lot of emphasis on the New Testament. However, while The Action Storybook Bible definitely tells the story of Jesus Christ and His redemptive love for us, it covers so many of my favorite stories from the Old Testament. It has been so fun watching my children learn to love the stories of the Bible as much as I do, and to see them reaching for this book over all of their previous favorites.
